Membrane Profi Roof – KRAFT

SURFACE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION
“ It is recommended that surfaces made of fresh cement, stucco, plaster, gypsum be left to dry for at least 4 weeks before applying KRAFT PROFI Roof.
“ To ensure good adhesion to the substrate, the surface must be dry, clean and free of dust, oil, salts, rust, loose paint and residues, swollen paint, etc.
“ Remove psoriasis, fungus and greening with mechanical sanding, wash with soapy water and let the background dry.
“ Use KRAFT Putty to fill gaps, cracks and other damaged surfaces. Expansion joints or large cracks (>3mm) are recommended to be bridged by using KRAFT Hydroguard Net anti-alkaline glass mesh.
“ Before applying KRAFT PROFI Roof, make sure that there are sufficient drainage and the corresponding water drainage points on the roof (gutters). In places where there is stagnant water, it is recommended to correct the dirt. You may need to open new gutters or make local repairs to the gutters with special cement mortar, lightweight concrete or perlite concrete. Slopes are recommended to be at least 2%.
” Do not use solvent based substrates on bituminous substrates before applying the sealant.
” On absorbent surfaces (cement, concrete, plaster etc.) apply one coat of KRAFT Eco Dur Aqua diluted with 80% water or KRAFT Dur diluted 100% with solvent and allow to dry for 24 hours.
” Apply two layers of KRAFT PROFI Roof crosswise.
“ On already painted surfaces with a solid substrate, apply two coats of KRAFT PROFI Roof crosswise.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
” Painting tools: Roller, brush, air gun or airless.
“Cleaning: immediately after application, clean the tools with warm water and soap or detergent, as well as the residues of the product.
“Dilution: a maximum dilution rate of 5-10% is recommended for the first hand only.
“Surface drying time: 2-3 hours, at 25ºC and 50% relative humidity (drying times are prolonged in wet – cold conditions).
“Minimum repainting time: 12-14 hours.
Stir well before use and during application.
“ Do not apply at temperatures below 10ºC and above 35ºC and above 65% relative humidity.
“ Do not apply in case of imminent rain for the next 4 days.
“ It is recommended that the application of KRAFT PROFI Roof in hot weather conditions should be carried out in the early morning hours, when the surface temperature of the roof is below 30°C and not under direct sunlight.
