Waterproofing Total Proof PU Hybrid – KRAFT

SURFACE PREPARATION AND PAINTING
“ To ensure good adhesion to the substrate, the surface must be dry, free of irregularities, clean and free of dust, oil, salts, rust, loose paint and residues, swollen paint, etc. The moisture content must not exceed 15%. Remove psoriasis, fungus with mechanical sanding, wash with soapy water and let the background dry.
“ It is recommended that fresh concrete, cement, plaster and asphalt surfaces are left to dry for at least 4 weeks before applying KRAFT TOTAL PROOF PU HYBRID.
“ Use a suitable KRAFT sealant to fill gaps, cracks and other damaged surfaces.
“ Before applying KRAFT TOTAL PROOF PU HYBRID, make sure that there are sufficient soiling and the corresponding water drainage points on the roof (gutters). If water is stagnating locally, fill the cavities with a suitable KRAFT repair mortar. The slopes should be at least 1.%-2%.
“ On absorbent surfaces (cement, concrete, etc.) apply one coat of KRAFT ECO DUR AQUA diluted with 80% water and allow to dry.
“ On non-porous surfaces (ceramic tiles, mosaics, metals, etc.) apply one coat of KRAFT EPOXY FLOOR PRIMER AQUA transparent and allow to dry.
“ On bituminous surfaces apply one coat of KRAFT TOTAL PROOF PU HYBRID diluted with 20% water and allow to dry for 24 hours.
“ Apply the material with a roller, brush, paintbrush or air or airless gun without thinning in two thick layers crosswise with a 6 hour repainting interval.
“ In difficult areas, apply a greater thickness or more layers of material. You can also use special gauze and/or KRAFT HYDROGUARD NET glass mesh to reinforce these areas.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS – PRECAUTIONS
“ Painting tools: Roller, brush, brush or air or airless gun.
“ Cleaning: immediately after application, clean the tools with warm water and soap or detergent, as well as the residues of the product.
“ Dilution: ready to use.
“ Surface drying time: 2-3 hours, at 25ºC and 50% relative humidity (drying times are prolonged in wet/cold conditions).
“Minimum repainting time: 6 hours.
“ Stir well before use and during application.
“ Do not apply in temperatures below 5ºC and above 35ºC and above 65% relative humidity.
“ It is recommended that the application of KRAFT TOTAL PROOF PU HYBRID in hot weather conditions should be done in the early morning hours, when the surface temperature of the roof is below 30°C and not under direct sunlight.
“It is recommended to use the surface after 48 hours and depending on the percentage of relative humidity.
“ The membrane reaches its full strength after 7 days under normal conditions of temperature and relative humidity.
“ Do not apply in case of imminent rain for the next 2 days.
