Description

Anti-corrosive primer for metal surfaces

High quality alkyd solvent primer with excellent anticorrosive properties and high strength thanks to the new technology of non-toxic anticorrosive pigments. It is applied to metal surfaces such as railings, agricultural machinery, car bodies, etc., providing effective protection against rust. It stands out because it dries quickly, does not drip and rubs off easily, providing excellent adhesion to ferrous metal surfaces and consistency between metal and finish paint. It ensures excellent coverage as it works softly and spreads beautifully, creating a uniform to-be-painted matt surface prior to the application of the final paint.

SURFACE PREPARATION
The surface must be dry, firm and clean of dust, other debris and loose old paint. In case of old rust, rub the surface with the appropriate sandpaper. For the disinfection of surfaces use KRAFT PENELOE DETergent. Wet sanding is recommended for surface preparation.
“On new surfaces: Before applying the paint, apply 1-2 coats of KRAFT RUST BLOCKER and lightly remove with wet sanding after 24h.
“On painted surfaces: Remove all residues of loose paint and apply 1-2 coats of KRAFT RUST BLOCKER. After 24 h, lightly decoat the surface and apply the appropriate final coat.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
“ Ready to use. If necessary, before starting painting, dilute 5-10% by volume with KRAFT PINE SOLVENT and mix well. In case of air gun application, dilute 5-10% by volume with KRAFT NITRO 1100.
“ Suitable painting tools are: Brush, roller or air gun.
“ Apply 1-2 coats of KRAFT RUST BLOCKER for an ideal result. Then apply 2 coats of the KRAFT finish paint.
“ Apply only in an open or well-ventilated area.
“ Minimum repainting time 24 hours.
“ Surface drying in 1-2 hours at 25°C and 50% relative humidity. The drying time is affected by the weather conditions.
“ Do not apply at temperatures below 5°C and above 35°C and above 65% relative humidity.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR POST-APPLICATION
“ Clean the tools immediately after use with KRAFT PENELO PENELO CLEANER and then with warm water and soap.
“ Close the container tightly to keep it in good condition for future use and store it before and after use in a cool place away from exposure to sunlight or frost.
