Polyurethane impregnating varnish

\nAlkyd solvent impregnation varnish for polyurethane. It protects, decorates and waterproofs wood. Suitable for all exterior and interior wooden surfaces, such as doors, windows, frames, pergolas, fences, cladding. The built-in filters against ultraviolet radiation and its water-repellent property, effectively protect against the sun, rain and moisture. At the same time, due to the special biocides it contains, it preserves its surface from the growth of mould and fungi. It penetrates deep into the pores of the wood allowing it to breathe, Its elasticity allows it to follow the contractions – expansions of the wood, without cracking or peeling.<\/p>\n

SURFACE PREPARATION<\/strong>
\nThe surface must be dry, firm and clean of dust, other debris and loose old paint.
\n“On new surfaces:<\/strong> Before applying the impregnation varnish, precede the removal of oils and resins with KRAFT PINE Varnish Remover, degrease parallel to the wood water, remove dust with a damp lint-free cloth. Treat the roses, apply 1 coat of KRAFT WOOD CARE preservative to protect against wood-eating insects and fungi.
\n“On already painted surfaces:<\/strong> Before applying the impregnation varnish, remove all old paint or varnish with KRAFT REMOVER and then clean the surface with KRAFT Brush Thinner or thoroughly scrub until removed with suitable sandpaper. After the surface is completely dry and all debris has been removed, repair all defective areas of the wood with the appropriate putty.<\/p>\n

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS<\/strong>
\n“<\/strong> The product is ready to use.
\n“<\/strong> Check the humidity of the pre-painted surface. Not to exceed 10%.
\n“<\/strong> Do not apply to wooden surfaces in contact with soil or water.
\n“<\/strong> The strength of the material is reduced in case of application on horizontal surfaces that are being pressed
\n“<\/strong> Some types of wood such as impregnated oak and Iroko reduce the durability of the material.
\n“<\/strong> A suitable painting tool is the brush.
\n“<\/strong> Stir well before use. Apply 2-3 coats of KRAFT WOOD CLASS for an ideal result.
\n“<\/strong> Apply only in an open or well-ventilated area.
\n” <\/strong>On very exposed surfaces apply 3 coats of KRAFT WOOD CLASS.
\n“<\/strong> The colourless is recommended for repainting if a colour has been used earlier and we do not wish to darken the surface further.
\n“<\/strong> Minimum repainting time 24 hours.
\n“<\/strong> Surface drying in 1-2 hours at 25\u00b0C and 60% relative humidity. The drying time is affected by the weather conditions.
\n“<\/strong> The final colour of the wood depends on its original colour and age.
\n“<\/strong> Do not apply at temperatures below 10\u00b0C and above 35\u00b0C and above 60% relative humidity.<\/p>\n

INSTRUCTIONS FOR POST-APPLICATION<\/strong>
\n“<\/strong> Close the container tightly to keep it in good condition for future use and store the product before and after use in a cool place away from exposure to sunlight or frost.
\n“<\/strong> Clean tools immediately after use with KRAFT PENELOE CLEANER, with warm water and soap.
\nUp to 5 years of protection:<\/strong> applies to properly prepared wood where one coat of Kraft Wood Care preservative and 3 coats of varnish have been applied. Depends on exposure to weather conditions. The durability period may be reduced if the wood is exposed to unfavourable conditions, permanent south-west exposure or prolonged exposure to moisture and standing water.<\/p>\n
